The Rodel Foundation of Arizona wants to find and reward such teachers, especially those at schools with high numbers of students from low-income families. This past week, Rodel announced that it had completed its review of nominations and chosen its list of Flagstaff’s extraordinary teachers for this year. Lee Irby, Mount Elden Middle School, and Jo’el Johanson, Sinagua Middle School, are the two Flagstaff winners of this year’s Rodel Exemplary Teacher Awards. They will each receive $5,000 and be assigned student teachers to mentor for the next six semesters…

Laguna Elementary’s Stamp, a Rodel winner, beams energy
